2021: Earned California Collegiate Athletic Association 2021 Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition in his one year with the program. Also earned California Collegiate Athletic Association 2020 Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition as a member of the cross country program.

At Fullerton College: Earned first-team All-Orange Empire Conference honors in cross country in 2019. Finished second in the conference in the 5,000 meters and 10,000 in track and field.

At Rowland High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Was named the Most Improved Runner on the cross country team and team won a Hacienda League championship.

Personal: Son of Mike Rusk. Majoring in English. Enjoys video games and running. Lists winning the conference 10,000 meters championship in his second year of track at Fullerton College as his most exciting experience in sports.
