Summary

Biography

2009: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles and completed an outstanding four-year career with the program. Appeared in 30 matches and in a total of 89 sets. Was second on the team with 114 assists. Had eight kills, 11 service aces and 126 digs. Had a season-high 26 set assists and nine digs in a five-set match at Sonoma State on Sept. 12. Had a season-high 10 digs in a four-set win at Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 10. Reached double figures in assists five times. For her career, appeared in 108 matches and 367 sets. Had 2,386 set assists and finished her career No. 5 in program history. Also had 216 kills, 55 service aces and 602 digs.

2008: Showed her versatility in her third season with the Golden Eagles. Led the team in set assists for the third straight year with 582 and also contributed 72 kills, most of them early in the season as a front-row attacker when Cal State L.A. was limited at the outside hitter position. Had a season-high eight kills in three matches. Had a season-high 42 set assists to go along with 11 digs at San Francisco State on Oct. 4. Also had 39 set assists at Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 1 and against UC San Diego in the NCAA Division II playoffs on Nov. 20. Ranked fifth on the team in digs with 169 and sixth in service aces with 10.
 
2007: Put together a strong second season as a sophomore at Cal State L.A. Appeared and started in all 27 matches and played in 99 of the team’s 100 games. Led the team with a career-high 948 set assists and was third on the team in service aces with 18. Ranked fourth on the team in digs with 177 and also recorded 71 kills and 26 blocks. Set a new career high with 70 assists in a four-set win over Central Washington on Aug. 25. Also had 65 set assists and seven kills in a thrilling five-set win over Cal Poly Pomona in the NCAA Division II Pacific Region Playoffs on Nov. 15. Put down 11 kills in just 14 attempts at Sonoma State on Oct. 5. Had a season-high 17 digs in a win over BYU-Hawaii on Aug. 24. Had 40 or more assists in 10 matches.
 
2006: Enjoyed a successful debut with the Golden Eagles. Earned second-team All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honors as a freshman. Played in 22 matches and 73 games. Recorded a team-high 742 set assists and was sixth on the team with 16 service aces. Also had 65 kills. Reached a season-high 63 assists in a five-set win over Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 3. Had 40 or more assists in eight matches. Produced a season-high seven kills in nine attempts in NCAA Division II Pacific Region playoff match against UC San Diego on Nov. 10. Also had seven kills in regular-season match at UC San Diego on Oct. 7.
At Dos Pueblos HS: Earned first-team All-Channel League and first-team All-County honors as a senior and received second-team All-Channel League recognition as a junior.

Personal: Daughter of Pat and Tina Brown. Majoring in liberal studies. Enjoys beach volleyball, going to the beach, paddle boarding and swimming. Lists beating Cal Poly Pomona, 19-17, in Game 5 of the 2007 NCAA Division II Regionals in San Bernardino as her most exciting experience in sports.
