2009: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Appeared in 23 matches and 47 sets. Had 14 kills, 10 set assists, six aces and 89 digs. Had a season-high four kills and six digs in a five-set match with UC San Diego on Sept. 18. Had a season-high 15 digs in a five-set win over Sonoma State in an NCAA first-round playoff game on Nov. 19. Made her Cal State L.A. debut in a three-set win over Alaska Fairbanks on Aug. 28. 

2008: Suffered a season-ending injury in preseason workouts and was a medical redshirt.

At Gabrielino HS: Competed in volleyball, basketball and track and field. Earned league Most Valuable Player honors twice in volleyball and earned All-League honors three times. Team won four league titles and advanced to the CIF quarterfinals in 2007. Was the league’s Most Valuable Player in basketball and earned All-Area honorable mention. Holds three school records in track and field in the long jump, 4x100 relay and 4x400 relay. Won league championships in the long jump three times. Was named the Pasadena Star-News Girl Athlete of the Year.

Personal: Daughter of Young and Yvonne Kim. Is an undeclared major. Enjoys the beach and spending time with family and friends. Lists being part of the first league basketball champion in Gabrielino's history and a volleyball match against Los Altos that enabled Gabrielino to advance to the CIF quarterfinals as her most exciting experiences in sports.
