Cal State LA Athletics

2019-20: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Appeared in nine games and played a total of 30 minutes. Averaged 0.1 points and 0.4 rebounds per game. Made her Cal State LA debut and played two minutes against Cal State San Marcos (11-12-19). Scored one point after making 1-of-2 from the free-throw line at Cal State East Bay (11-21-19). Had a season-high two rebounds and one steal in a 92-65 win over San Francisco State (12-5-19). Played a season-high 10 minutes in the victory.
 
At Pasadena City College: Earned second-team All-Conference honors.

At Foothill High School: Was the Defensive Player of the Year as a sophomore and earned first-team All-League honors as a senior. Earned second-team All-League honors as a junior. Competed in basketball, volleyball and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of John Mendez, Gloria Mendez and Amada Mendez. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys basketball, cooking and shopping. Lists competing in the state tournament in junior college as her most exciting experience in sports.
