Summary

Biography

2019-20: Had a sensational season in her one year with the Cal State LA program. Earned first-team All-California College Athletic Association honors. Led the team and was third in the conference in scoring with a 16.7 points per game average. Set a new program single-season record for 3-pointers with 89, which led the conference. Reached double figures in scoring 23 times and scored 20 or more points 11 times. Had a season-high 30 points in an 88-50 win over Chico State (1-2-20). Set a new program record for successful 3-pointers in that game with eight. Hit seven 3-pointers and scored 26 points in a season-ending win at San Francisco State (2-29-20). Had a season-high nine rebounds in a 92-65 win over San Francisco State (12-5-19). Was third on the team in rebounding (4.1 per game), third in assists with 65 and third in steals with 24. Started all 27 games she played in and was second in the team with 863 minutes.

At Long Beach State: Appeared in 27 games with two starts in 2018-19. Averaged 3.9 points per game. Scored a season-high 14 points at UC Irvine (3-9-19).

At Pepperdine: Averaged 8.6 points per game as a redshirt freshman in 2016-17. Played in 28 games and led the team by shooting 42.9 percent from 3-point range. Scored a career-high 23 points against Duke (11-27-16) and hit seven 3-pointers in the game. Played in 16 games as a sophomore and averaged 6.8 points per game. Shot 42.4 percent from 3-point range.

At Burrell High School: A four-year letter winner in basketball and also competed in soccer and track and field. Earned first-team Pennsylvania All-State honors as a junior and senior and was the Double-A Player of the Year both seasons. Was a Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Fabulous 5 selection as a junior and senior and a Pittsburgh Tribune Review Terrific 10 selection as a sophomore, junior and senior. Was the Valley News Dispatch Player of the Year as a sophomore, junior and senior and was the league Player of the Year as a sophomore, junior and senior.

Personal: Daughter of Bobby and Rhonda Turcic and Jojo Bordonaro. Is pursuing her Master’s degree in sports management. Enjoys dancing and fashion. Lists her big game against Duke during her freshman year at Pepperdine as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she loves Alan Iverson.
