Summary

Biography

2018-19: Had a tremendous season for the Golden Eagles in her second and final year with the program. Was one of the most improved players in the California Collegiate Athletic Association. Appeared and started in 26 games. Played a total of 703 minutes. Averaged 13.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Led the team in scoring, rebounding and steals (50). Was third on the team in assists with 46. Earned second-team All-CCAA honors. Had a career-high 33 points and 10 rebounds in a triple-overtime game against Cal State San Marcos (12-29-18). :Had 27 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals in a 75-65 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-19-18). Had 26 points against UC San Diego (1-3-19). Reached double figures in scoring 15 times and scored 20 or more points seven times. Scored 22 or more points in six straight games early in the season. Made her first start for the Golden Eagles and scored nine points in 25 minutes in a 60-53 win over Biola (11-9-18). For her career, appeared in 54 games and started 26 games. Played a total of 1,082 minutes. Averaged 9.6 points and 5.1 rebounds per game.

2017-18: Had a big impact on the program in her first year with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 28 games and played a total of 379 points. Averaged 5.9 points and 3.0 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 15 points in a 63-62 victory over Concordia-Irvine (11-21-17). Also had 12 points in 20 minutes in a 61-43 win at Cal State San Bernardino (1-18-18). Reached double figures in scoring five times.

At Riverside City College: Earned first-team All-Conference and second-team All-State honors. Earned All-Tournament honors at the Palomar Tournament.

At Eleanor Roosevelt High School: Earned first-team All-League honors three times and was the Best of the West Most Valuable Player three times. Was the MVP of the Riverside vs. San Bernardino All-Star game and the Sun Desert Valley All-Star game. Won the Most Impact Player of the Year Award. Was on the school’s Honor Roll all four years she attended. Also competed in track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Benjamin and Josephine Uzowuru. Majoring in exercise science. Enjoys photography and videography. Lists competing and having the ability to improve every day as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she is Nigerian and is a triplet.
