Cal State LA Athletics

2019-20: Had a second strong season with the Golden Eagles and concluded her impressive two-year Cal State LA career. Appeared in 26 games and started two times. Averaged 4.3 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Scored a season-high 12 rebounds and had four rebounds at Simon Fraser (11-15-19). Had 10 points and two rebounds in a 70-62 win over Cal State East Bay (2-8-20). Had a career-high 12 rebounds in an 87-73 win at Cal State San Bernardino (1-11-20). Received 2019-20 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and was also part of the CCAA 2019-20 Winter All-Academic Team. For her career, appeared in 52 games and started six times. Played a total of 736 minutes. Averaged 3.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

2018-19: Had a strong first season with the Golden Eagles and made meaningful contributions to the program. Appeared in 26 games and started four times. Averaged 3.3 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Scored a season-high 14 points in 23 minutes in a win against Concordia-Irvine (11-10-18). Had 10 points and a season-high eight rebounds in a win against Cal State Monterey Bay (2-9-19). Earned 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic honors and was also part of the CCAA Winter All-Academic Team.

At Riverside City College: Earned third-team All-State and first-team All-Conference honors for the Tigers in 2017-18. Averaged 14.1 points and 8.1 rebounds per game. Was on the school’s Dean’s List and also received Academic All-State honors. Was named RCC’s Female Athlete of the Year and earned the Fran Bushman and Bill Hooper Scholarships for succeeding in both academics and athletics.

At Palm Springs High School: Earned first-team All-State and All-League honors. Was the Palm Springs Female Athlete of the Year and Citrus Belt Female Athlete of the Year. Earned the Principal’s Award eight times for having a 4.0 grade point average. Competed in basketball, volleyball and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Joe and Angel Adams. Majoring in art/fashion design. Enjoys painting, drawing, reading, going out, watching Law & Order SVU, spending time with her new niece, going to Disneyland, watching movies or sports and doing anything to keep her out of the house.  Lists watching a teammate hit a deep 3-pointer to send a conference game into overtime and going 100 percent from the three-point line at Cypress as her most exciting experiences in sports.
