Cal State LA Athletics

2013: Saw playing time for the Golden Eagles in his second and final season with the program. Appeared in two games and played a total of 57 minutes. Made his Cal State LA debut and played 28 minutes in a 6-1 win over Saint Martin's on Sept. 6. Played a season-high 29 minutes in a 1-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 24.

2012: Joined the Cal State L.A. program, but did not compete in any games and was a redshirt.

At Golden Valley High School: Earned All-League honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Earned All-Area honors as a sophomore, junior and senior. Was the team Most Valuable Player as a senior and a team captain as a junior and senior. Team won league championships all four years and was a Central Section champion during his freshman year. Scored 17 goals as a senior.

Personal: Son of Bernardo and Juana Alvarado. Majoring in fire protection administration. Enjoys soccer and playing Fifa. Lists competing in the Dallas Cup and scoring the winning goal to win the California Cup as his most exciting experience in sports.
