Caleigh Clark is a senior for Cal State LA's women's golf team from El Dorado Hills. Clark recently answered questions for Golden Eagle athletics as part of a recurring Q&A series called "The Rundown" featuring student-athletes from across the department. The interview has been lightly edited for clarity.
Q: How would you describe yourself as an athlete?
A: Calm, collected, and focused.
Q: What's your favorite memory from your athletic career?
A: I really enjoy practicing with the girls in the morning and traveling to tournaments together, but overall my experience with athletics is something I will remember for the rest of my life!
Q: What's your pregame routine?
A: Getting good sleep, meditating, listening to music that hypes me up.
Q: What skills or traits make players successful at your sport?
A: Determination, calmness, optimism.
Q: What do you appreciate about your Cal State LA team?
A: We are all close and support each other! I love going to practice in the morning and watching all the younger girls succeed, it brings me great joy.
