Cal State L.A. had a 20-19 advantage in shots in the evenly-matched game and a 7-5 edge in corner kicks. Both teams had excellent chances to win it in the extra time with the Warriors having the better of play in the first overtime and the Golden Eagles returning the favor in the second overtime.
Yi Du made three saves in goal for the Golden Eagles, while Chelsea Lewandowski made six saves for the Warriors (10-0-2, 8-0-2 CCAA).

Cal State L.A. also had some dangerous moments in the opening half that were stymied by the Warrior defense.
The Warriors took a 1-0 lead just 1:23 into the second half thanks to the 15th goal of the season for CCAA scoring leader Karenee Demery. Maryssa McDuffy got the ball into the box and Maryssa Nebesnick flicked it with her back heel to an onrushing Demery, who converted her shot inside the near post.
Cal State L.A. maintained its composure after falling behind and began generating some opportunities in an attempt to tie it. Norie Pablo had a nice attempt go just wide after a strong run in the waning moments.
The Golden Eagles finally broke through in the final minute after a Cal State Stanislaus foul just outside the box. Arvidsson drilled her shot perfectly inside the far post with just 41 seconds remaining. It was Arvidsson's team-leading eighth goal of the season.
The Warriors had a pair of outstanding chances in the first overtime, both generated by Demery. Her first shot from point-blank range was saved by Du and a second chance went wide. Cal State Stanislaus had a 4-1 edge in shots in the first overtime period.
The fortunes were reversed in the second overtime and Cal State L.A. had the better chances. Pablo had a great bid go just wide with five minutes remaining and Heather Williams had a shot headed toward the right post that Lewandowski was able to leap up and grab.
Pablo had a strong match for the Golden Eagles with five shots, while Shea Richards was also a strong presence with five shots in 40 minutes, including a blast on a free kick that just went high.
Demery also had five shots to lead the Warriors, while Sabrina Williamson had four shots.
Cal State L.A. will return to action on Friday with a road game at Cal Poly Pomona at 4:30 p.m.
