Cal State LA Athletics

2025: Was on the roster for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring, but did not compete in any meets. Competed for a second season with Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Ran in five of the six meets for the Golden Eagles. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 24:06.8 at the Biola Invitational. Had a best 6,000-meter time of 27:40.3 while finishing 188^th at the NCAA West Regional.

2024: Competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring in her first year with the program. Had a best time of 2:51.10 in the 800 in outdoor track. Also had a best mark of 2:56.10 in the 800 in indoor track. Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Ran in all six events for the Golden Eagles. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 22:44.6 at the Biola Invitational and a best 6,000-meter time of 26:48.7 while finishing 180^th at the NCAA West Regional. Finished 96^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a time of 31:10.9 over 6,000 meters.

At Cantwell Sacred Heart of Mary High School: Competed in cross country, track and field and soccer. Earned the school’s Student-Athlete Award and Most Improved.

Personal: Daughter of Sal and Lisa Trujillo. Majoring in social work. Enjoys team bonding and seeing herself and others get better as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she loves her family and her team.
