2011-12: Had a sensational second season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Was tremendous in doubles and had a 22-4 record with Christie Lau and a 22-5 record overall. The No. 1 team of McShane and Lau was 16-1 at No. 1 doubles and finished the season ranked 11th in the nation, just one spot shy of All-America honors. Finished the season ranked No. 3 in the West Region. Also had an 11-13 singles record, including a 9-9 mark in dual matches. Went 8-8 at No. 2 singles. For her career, had a 27-20 overall record in singles, including a 24-14 mark in dual matches. Had an overall record of 39-16 in doubles, including a 28-10 mark in dual matches. Finished her career No. 4 all-time in doubles wins and set a new program record for winning percentage (.709). Recorded a total of 52 points in dual matches in her career for the Golden Eagles.

2010-11: Had an outstanding first season for the Golden Eagles playing at No. 2 singles and No. 1 doubles. Had a 16-7 overall record in singles, including a 15-5 mark in dual matches. Also compiled a 17-11 overall record in doubles with Christie Lau, including a 12-9 mark in dual matches. Finished the season ranked 23^rd in the nation in doubles with Lau and fifth in the West Region. Won 10 matches in a row late in the season and finished the year with 10 wins in her last 11 contests.

At Hobart College: Received the Extreme Athletic Award in 2008, the Athletic Development Academic Award in 2007 and was a cross country champion in 2007. Was the Tasmanian women’s singles open champion. Tennis was not a school sport, but played individually.

Personal: Daughter of Greg and Loretta McShane. Majoring in Kinesiology, nutrition. Enjoys going to the gym, running, bushwalking and listening to music. Lists being a hitting partner for the Australian Open women’s players, winning tournaments and coming to Cal State L.A. as her most exciting experiences in sports. Says she loves watching Australian Football and go’s for the Kangaroos.
