Summary

Biography

2018: Had another outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and concluded her tremendous four-year career. Appeared in all 18 games with 14 starts and was one of the team's best defenders once again. Played a total of 1,045 minutes. Had an assist on the game-winning goal by Ashtyn Bracamonte in a 2-0 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Sept. 26. Had a season-high four shots in that game. For her career, appeared in 71 games with 66 starts. Played a total of 5,451 minutes. Had four goals and two assists for 10 points.

2017: Had a third tremendous season for the Golden Eagles and earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association second-team honors as a defender. Also received third-team All-West Region honors from the United Soccer Coaches. Started all 17 games for the Golden Eagles and led the team in minutes played with 1,604. Played in every minute of every game for Cal State LA. Was a key part of a defense that recorded a 0.95 goals against average and posted five shutouts.

2016: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and earned All-CCAA honorable mention for a second time and at a second position. Was one of the team’s top defenders. Started 19 games for the Golden Eagles and was second on the team in minutes played with 1,724. Scored her lone goal of the season in a 2-0 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 1 in a first-round CCAA Championship Tournament game. Was a big part of a defense that recorded nine shutouts. Was one of two Cal State L.A. recipients of the 2016-17 Dr. Hal Charnofsky Memorial Award from the CCAA for academic and athletic accomplishments.

2015: Was one of the team’s most improved players and made big contributions. Earned All-CCAA honorable mention as a midfielder. Appeared in 17 games and started 16 for the Golden Eagles. Shared the team lead with three goals and one assist for seven points. Two of her goals were game-winners. Scored the lone goal in double overtime of a 1-0 win at San Francisco State on Oct. 16 and got the only goal in the 63rd minute of a 1-0 victory at Stanislaus State on Oct. 29. Also scored the team’s only goal at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 18. Made her Cal State LA debut and started in a 1-1 tie against Concordia Irvine on Sept. 5.

2014: Did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program.

At Bishop Montgomery High School: Was a four-year member of the varsity team. Earned second-team All-Del Rey League honors as a sophomore and junior and first-team honors as a senior. Was the team captain and Most Valuable Player as a senior.

Personal: Daughter of John and Felecia Zuvic. Majoring in business management. Enjoys playing soccer and spending time with her family. Lists winning the National Cup with Fram U-19 and traveling to Boise, Idaho for regionals and making it to finals as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes her ethnicity is Croatian, Serbian and African American. Is Cal State LA’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee President.
