Biography

2019: Concluded a successful two-year career with the Golden Eagles and was a steady contributor once again. Appeared in all 18 games with 17 starts. Played a total of 937 minutes. For her career, appeared in 34 games with 18 starts and played a total of 1,543 minutes. Had two assists and two points.

2018: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Appeared in 16 games and made one start. Had two assists and finished the season with two points. Had an assist in a 2-1 win at San Francisco State on Sept. 28 and on the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory against Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 27. Made her first career start for Cal State LA at Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 21.

At Cerritos College: Was on a pair of two national championship teams in 2015 and 2016. Earned second-team All-Conference honors.

At Paramount High School: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and Best Defensive Player.

Personal: Daughter of Gerardo Garcia and Silvia Cervantes. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys dancing and soccer. Lists winning two titles at Cerritos College as her most exciting experiences in sports.
