Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Made big contributions for the Golden Eagles in her third and final year of competition with the program. Appeared in a career-high 19 games and played a total of 473 minutes. Made her season debut and played a season-high 47 minutes in a 2-2 tie at Point Loma on Sept. 2. Played a total of 62 minutes in NCAA playoff games against Simon Fraser at Seattle Pacific on Nov. 16 and 18. Earned 2023-24 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors. For her career, appeared in 28 games with three starts. Played a total of 827 minutes.

2022: Made contributions once again for the Golden Eagles in her second year of competition with the program. Appeared in five games and played a total of 111 minutes. Played 13 minutes in season-opening 2-0 win over Cal Poly Pomona on Aug. 27. Played a season-high 63 minutes in a 4-3 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 23. Played in Cal State LA’s 1-0 win at Sonoma State in the CCAA Tournament championship game on Nov. 6.

2021: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year of competition with the program. Appeared in four games and made three starts. Played a total of 243 minutes. Made her Cal State LA debut and got her first start in a 1-1 tie at Concordia on Sept. 4. Played a total of 70 minutes. Played a career-high 90 minutes at Point Loma on Sept. 9. Earned 2021-22 CCAA All-Academic honors and Dean’s List recognition.

2020: Earned 2020-21 CCAA All-Academic honors in her first year with the program. Team did not compete due to COVID-19.

At Mission Hills High School: Was a National Honor Society public speaker at a ceremony. Earned the AVID Student-Athlete of the Year award. Was on the Gold and Silver Honor Roll.  Was the women’s soccer Most Valuable Player and Coach’s Award winner. Competed in soccer and track and field.

Personal: Daughter of Hector Navarro and Noemi Arroyo. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys painting, knitting and listening to music. Lists winning the CCAA Tournament championship last year as her most exciting experience in sports.
