Summary

Biography

2009: Had her best season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Started all 22 games and played a total of 1,941 minutes. Was second on the team in minutes played. For her career, appeared in 68 games and started 45 times. Played a total of 4,579 minutes. Had two goals and two assists for six points.

2008: Was a steadying influence on the field for the Golden Eagles in her third season with the program. Started all 19 games for Cal State L.A. and helped fortify a Golden Eagle defense that improved greatly throughout the season. Set new career highs for appearances and starts.
 
2007: Saw significant playing time for the Golden Eagles as a sophomore. Appeared in 15 games before having her season cut short by injury. Had two assists during the season. Picked up her first assist on what turned out to be the game-winning goal in a 2-1 victory over Humboldt State on Sept. 9. Also assisted on the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Cal State Dominguez on Oct. 14.
 
2006: Made a strong debut for the Golden Eagles in her freshman season. Appeared in 12 games and started four times. Scored two goals and had four points. Scored her first goal in a 2-1 win at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 15. Also scored the lone goal in a 2-1 loss at Cal State Bakersfield on Oct. 4. Made the first start of her college career at San Francisco State on Sept. 29.
At Whittier Christian High School: Earned first-team All-League honors in 2005 and 2006. Team won the Alpha League championship in 2005.

Personal: Daughter of Julio Vasquez and Cynthia Bastida. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys hanging out with the tri-pod, chasing cheetahs and listening to music. Lists the 2006 high school playoffs, penalty kicks and competing in the Junior Olympics in swimming as her most exciting experiences in sports. Wants to be an athletic trainer.
