Cal State LA Athletics

2018: Was a key player for the Golden Eagles in her second and final season with the Golden Eagles. Started in all 17 games she appeared in and played a total of 1,132 minutes, which was sixth on the team. Played every minute of four matches, including all 110 minutes in a 1-1 tie at Chico State on Sept. 14. For her career, appeared in 25 games with 23 starts. Played a total of 1,567 minutes.
 
2017: Made her Cal State LA debut and battled through injuries. Started the first six games of the season for the Golden Eagles before her first injury and played a season-high 77 minutes against Simon Fraser on Sept. 4. Last start came at Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 17. Played 45 minutes against Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 22 and missed the next month due to injury. Returned to play against Stanislaus State on Oct. 26, but another injury sidelined her for the rest of the season.

At Rio Hondo College: Was the team captain as a sophomore and earned first-team All-Conference honors. Was on the Dean’s Honor Roll list and won the Black and Gold and Hat Trick awards. Competed in a state championship for Rio Hondo in 2015.

At Cerritos High School: Earned first-team All-League honors twice and second-team All-League honors twice and was a scholar-athlete. Was also a team Most Valuable Player and a team captain twice. Led the team in scoring as a senior and earned a Scholar-Athlete award. Competed in soccer and track and field in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Erik and Ana Lizarraga. Majoring in public health. Enjoys eating, cooking, sleeping, adventuring and attending concerts and music festivals. Lists playing in the state championship game in San Jose as a freshman as her most exciting experience in sports.
