Summary

Biography

2025: Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring, but did not compete in any matches. Played through injury and had an encouraging second season with Cal State LA’s indoor team in the fall. Appeared in 15 matches and 54 sets. Had 31 kills and 33 blocks. Had a career-high eight kills and 8.5 points in a five-set win over St. Mary’s on Sept. 5. Had a career-high six blocks to go along with four kills in a five-set win over Cal Poly Pomona on Sept. 13. Missed 10 matches due to injury, but returned against Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 31 and played in the final six matches for the Golden Eagles.

2024: Had a promising season for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the defending NCAA Division II national champions. Appeared in 13 matches and 41 sets. Had eight kills, five set assists, 10 digs and 33 blocks. Was fifth on the team in blocks. Made her Cal State LA debut and played one set against Chaminade on Sept. 6. Picked up her first two blocks in a four-set win over Simon Fraser on Sept. 12. Had season highs with six blocks and five digs in California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament win over Cal Poly Pomona on Nov. 22. Had two kills and four blocks in CCAA Tournament championship match against Stanislaus State on Nov. 23. Had 13 blocks in Cal State LA’s three matches and was named to the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

At Elsinore High School: Was named the team’s Offensive Most Valuable Player as a junior and varsity Most Valuable Player as a senior. Earned All-Valley first or second team honors every year in high school. Earned High Honors in academics all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Jason and Melissa Vogel. Majoring in education. Enjoys wakesurfing and walking her dogs. Lists making it to the CCAA Championships and the NCAA Tournament during her first year of college as her most exciting experiences in sports.
