Biography

2025: Was a major contributor for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring. Competed in all 12 matches and picked up a win with partner Karina Talavera at No. 5 pairs. Had another strong season in the fall for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the indoor program. Appeared in 24 matches and 94 sets. Led the team with 557 set assists and was second on the team in service aces with 27 and fifth in digs with 154. Had a career-high 53 assists in a four-set win over Chico State on Oct. 4. Also had 41 set assists in a five-set win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 31. Matched a career-high with 16 digs in a five-set match at Hawaii-Pacific on Sept. 4. Had a career-high four aces in a four-set win over Cal State East Bay on Sept. 27. Reached double figures in assists in 23 of 24 matches and had 20 or more 13 times, 30 or more seven times and 40 or more two times. Had four double-doubles. Earned CCAA Setter of the Week honors for the week of Sept. 22-28 after helping the Golden Eagles post a five-set win over Cal State San Bernardino and a four-set win over Cal State East Bay with double-doubles in both contests. For her career, appeared in 86 matches and 257 sets. Had 1,391 set assists, 56 service aces and 351 digs.

2024: Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball roster in the spring, but did not compete in any matches. Had her best season yet in the fall for the defending NCAA Division II national champions. Appeared in all 29 matches and 106 sets. Led the team with 664 assists and was third with 26 service aces. Was also fifth on the team with 159 digs. Had a season-high 48 assists, a season-high 16 digs and a season-high three aces in a five-set win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 5. Also had 48 assists in a five-set win at Central Washington on Sept. 14 and 47 assists in a five-set win over Simon Fraser on Sept. 12. Reached double figures in sets 25 times, including 15 with 20 or more, seven with 30 or more and four with 40 or more. Reached double figures in digs four times and had four double-doubles.

2023: Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring, but did not compete in any matches. Made meaningful contributions in the fall for the NCAA Division II national champions. Appeared in 17 matches and 31 sets. Was third on the team with 93 sets. Also had two aces and 18 digs. Had a season-high 23 assists in a four-set win over West Florida on Sept. 8. Also had 12 assists in two sets of a win at Chico State on Nov. 11. Had 11 assists in three sets in a win over Cal State East Bay on Oct. 21. Had a season-high three digs in the win over West Florida, at San Francisco State on Oct. 26 and at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 28. Had her first career ace against Lewis on Sept. 9 and also had an ace against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 21.

2022: Joined Cal State LA’s volleyball program in the fall for the NCAA Division II West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions. Appeared in 15 matches and 23 sets. Had 65 set assists and 14 digs. Made her Cal State LA debut and had five assists and a season-high three digs against Regis on Aug. 26. Had a season-high seven assists and three digs in a win over Chico State on Sept. 10 and in a win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 1. Also had three digs in the CCAA Tournament against Sonoma State on Oct. 11.

At Manteca High School: Was a two-time team Most Valuable Player, All-Area setter and first-team all-league honoree. Was also named the league’s Setter of the Year. Had 789 assists and averaged 8.4 assists per set, 166 digs, 39 blocks and 81 kills. Competed in volleyball and basketball.

Personal: Daughter of Carl and Robin Chandler. Majoring in TV, Film and Media Studies. Enjoys reading and painting. Lists winning a national championship as her most exciting experience in sports.
