Biography

2019-20: Had a fourth strong season for the Golden Eagles and finished her Cal State LA career with the most blocks in program history. Was sixth on the team in scoring with 6.8 points per game and led the team with 7.3 rebounds per game. Led the California Collegiate Athletic Association for a second straight season in blocks with 73 (2.6 per game). Was one of only two players to start all 28 games for the Golden Eagles. Scored a season-high 18 points in an 80-74 win over Humboldt State (1-18-20). Had 14 points and a career-high 20 rebounds in a 99-46 win over San Francisco State (2-29-20). Had a career-high seven blocks at Simon Fraser (11-15-19). Reached double figures in scoring seven times and double figures in rebounding five times. Had three double-doubles. Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors for a second straight season. Received 2019-20 CCAA All-Academic honors and was also part of the 2019-20 CCAA Winter All-Academic Team. Set a new program career record with 185 blocks and finished her career No. 6 in rebounds with 581. Appeared in 100 games with 77 starts. Played a total of 2,138 minutes. Averaged 6.9 points and 5.8 rebounds per game.

2018-19: Had a third outstanding season for the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s best players. Was third on the team in scoring with 9.0 points per game and second on the team in rebounding with 6.7 rebounds per contest. Both were career bests. Had a career-high 26 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Stanislaus State (11-24-19). Also had a 20-point, 10-rebound double-double against Cal State San Marcos (12-29-18). Grabbed a season-high 13 rebounds to go along with 16 points at Cal State San Bernardino (11-29-18). Reached double figures in scoring eight times and double-figures in rebounding seven times. Had three double-doubles. Led the CCAA in blocked shots with 57 (2.2 per game). Earned CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors. Received 2018-19 CCAA All-Academic honors as well as CCAA Winter All-Academic honors.

2017-18: Overcame a pre-season injury and battled through a second successful season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 17 games and a total of 255 minutes. Averaged 5.4 points and 3.6 rebounds per game. Was second on the team in blocks with 27 and her 1.6 blocks per game led the team. Had a career-high 17 points and seven rebounds at Cal State San Marcos (2-22-18). Reached double figures in scoring three times. Had a season-high nine rebounds in CCAA Tournament game at Chico State (2-27-18). Received the athletic department’s Female Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2017-18 CCAA All-Academic honors for a second straight year and was on the 2017-18 CCAA Winter All-Academic Team.

2016-17: Had an outstanding first season with the Cal State LA program. Appeared in 29 games and started 23 times. Averaged 6.0 points and 4.9 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 16 points on 8-of-10 shooting at Cal State San Marcos (12-31-16). Had a 14-point, 11-rebound double-double against Cal State San Bernardino (2-9-17). Had 10 points and a season-high 13 rebounds for her second double-double against Cal State San Marcos (2-25-17).Reached double figures in scoring six times and in rebounding three times. Led the team in blocked shots with 28. Earned 2016-17 CCAA All-Academic honors.

At Bella Vista High School: Earned Capital Valley All-League honors in 2014-15 and 2015-16 and received All-City honorable mention from the Sacramento Bee. Received the Bronco Award as a freshman and also as a senior in 2015-16. Was a Scholar-Athlete in 2013-14, 2014-15 and 2015-16.

Personal: Daughter of Richard and Barbara DiRegolo. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys hiking, fishing and skiing. Lists traveling with her teammates to play games and competing in playoffs as her most exciting experiences in sports. Twin sister Rebeccah is also on Cal State LA’s roster.
