Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Appeared in 17 games with four starts. Played a total of 817 minutes. Had one goal and two points. Scored the first goal in a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 23. Made her Cal State LA debut and played 47 minutes at Point Loma on Sept. 8. Made her first start and played all 90 minutes against Azusa Pacific on Sept. 12. Made a start and played 66 minutes in a 1-0 win over UC San Diego on Oct. 4.

At San Jose State: Was the preseason Mountain West Conference Freshman of the Year. Played in two matches for the Spartans in 2014.

At Adlai E. Stevenson High School: Earned first-team All-League honors and team won a regional championship. Also played club soccer for Eclipse Select and helped team win regional and national championships. Participated in the Olympic Development Program for five years.

Personal: Daughter of Tom and Catherine Karabetsos. Majoring in marketing-business. Enjoys cheering on all Chicago sports, especially the Blackhawks, hiking, traveling, advertisement/media and fashion. Lists assisting on the game-winning goal against the defending ECNL national champions as her most exciting experience in sports. Helps with the “Feed Our Starving Children” program in Chicago. Notes she is one of seven siblings (she has three sisters and three brothers) and is Greek and Italian.
