Cal State LA Athletics

2016: Was a contributor once again in her final season with the program. Appeared in three games and a total of 43 minutes. Played a season-high 20 minutes in her final game for the Golden Eagles, a 2-0 win over Stanislaus State on Sept. 18. For her career, appeared in 21 games with one start. Played a total of 481 minutes. Had two goals and one assist for five points.

2015: Appeared in seven games and started once before suffering a season-ending injury. Got her first career start for Cal State LA and played a season-high 51 minutes at Cal State San Bernardino on Sept. 25. That was her last game of the season. Played a total of 213 minutes.

2014: Had a productive season for the Golden Eagles. Scored two goals with one assist for a total of five points. Appeared in 11 games, including both games of the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Tournament. Had a goal and an assist in her first game for Cal State LA, a 4-0 win over Dixie State on Sept. 11. Also picked up a goal in a 4-0 win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 26. Played a total of 225 minutes.

2013: Did not compete in any games for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program.

At Dougherty High School: Competed in soccer and cross country. Was the Athlete of the Month in January of 2013 and earned first and second-team All-League honors. Also attended Monte Vista High School.

Personal: Daughter of Rafi Arghandiwal and Homayra Latifi. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys eating exotic food. Lists playing with the women’s Afghanistan national team as her most exciting experience in sports.
