Cal State LA Athletics

2015: Had an outstanding season in her one year with the program. Appeared in 18 games and started 17 times. Played a total of 1,546 minutes. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Had one goal and one assist for three points. Had the game-winning goal in a 2-0 victory over Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 2. Assisted on a goal by Katarena Karabetsos in a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 23. Made her Cal State LA debut and played all 110 minutes in a 1-1 tie against Concordia-Irvine on Sept. 5.

At Cal State Dominguez Hills: Appeared in 50 games and started 48 times for the Toros over the past three seasons. Was one of the team’s top defenders. Started all 15 games she played in during the 2014 season. Scored her second career goal to give the Toros a 1-0 lead early in the second half of a 4-2 loss to UC San Diego on Sept. 19. Also had a goal during her freshman season against Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 12, 2012.

At Murrieta Valley High School: Was a four-year letterwinner for the Nighthawks. Earned first-team all-league and second-team all-valley honors and was an Offensive team Most Valuable Player as a senior. Helped team win two league titles. Made the school’s honor roll all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Jim and Mary Fregosi. Majoring in communcations. Enjoys watching sports, going to the beach and hiking. Lists scoring her first college goal as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she participates with Soccer For Hope.
