Cal State LA Athletics

At Orange Coast College: Led the state in 3-pointers with 90 and helped the Pirates advance to the state quarterfinals in 2011. Averaged 11.3 points, 3.2 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game and made 81 percent of her free throws. Earned first-team All-Conference honors. Averaged 10.9 points per game and led the team with 59 successful 3-pointers as a freshman. Earned second-team All-Conference honors. Made the school’s Dean’s List.

At Northwood High School: Earned All-League and All-City of Irvine honors as a junior and senior. Holds the school record for most 3-pointers in a game (9) and was on the Principal’s Honor Roll all four years in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Joe and Cristina Deal. Majoring in English. Enjoys basketball, reading, writing, the beach, backpacking and traveling. Lists reaching the Elite Eight while at OCC as her most exciting experience in sports.
