Biography

2010: Had a second outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his final year with the program. Had best marks of 10.86 in the 100 meters and 22.33 in the 200. Was part of Cal State L.A.'s California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship 4x100 relay team. Earned All-America honors after the 4x100 team finished third in the nation. Was also part of the 4x400 relay team that placed third in the conference to earn All-CCAA recognition. Qualified for the finals of the 100 meters for a second straight season, but had a false start in the championship race. Finished 10th in the conference in the 200. For his career, had best marks of 10.73 in the 100, 22.03 in the 200 and 50.52 in the 400. Finished his career with one All-America and four All-CCAA awards.

2009: Was one of Cal State L.A.’s top sprinters in his first season with the program. Finished third in the CCAA in the 100 meters and earned All-CCAA honorable mention. Also finished third in the conference as part of the 4x100 relay team to earn all-conference honorable mention. Had best times of 10.73 in the 100, 22.03 in the 200 and 50.52 in the 400.

At Victor Valley College: Finished fifth in Southern California and broke the school record in the 100 meters. Had best times of 10.65 in the 100 and 21.8 in the 200.

At Silverado High School: Was on the school Honor Roll for two years. Competed in track and field and football. Football team won the league championship three times. Track team won the league championship. Won the championship in the 100 meters as a senior. Earned All-League honors.
Personal: Son of the late Leve Ross and Robin Watson. Majoring in theatre arts. Enjoys cutting hair, reading the Bible and dancing. Lists winning the 100-meter dash with a strained hamstring at Silverado as his most exciting experience in sports. Says his dream is to go to the Olympics.
