Biography

At Banning High School: Competed in cross country, basketball, track and field and tennis in high school. Earned All-League second-team honors as a sophomore and junior in cross country. Team reached the CIF Finals in his senior year and qualified for the CIF prelims in his sophomore, junior and senior season. Was the team captain as a senior. Had a best time of 17:17 in cross country.
 
Personal: Son of Gabino and Maricela Sanchez. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys basketball, biking, running and computers. Lists advancing to CIF in cross country and every PR in cross country and track as his most exciting experiences in sports.
