Biography

2023: Ran for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and was the team’s No. 1 runner. Was one of only three runners to compete in all six of the team’s events. Had a best 8,000-meter time of 26:33.4 while finishing 85th at the Cal State San Marcos Cougar Challenge on Sept. 23. Finished 19th at the Coyote Challenge at Cal State San Bernardino with an 8,000-meter time o 27:09.9. Finished 60th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with an 8,000-meter time of 27:22.5 on Oct. 21 and was 133rd in the NCAA West Regionals with a 10,000-meter time of 34:58.8 on Nov. 4. Also competed for Cal State LA’s track and field team in the spring (2024). Had best times of 4:22.26 in the 1,500, 9:15.52 in the 3,000, 16:18.72 in the 5,000 and 33:52.66 in the 10,000. Finished 17th in the 10,000 at the CCAA Championships. An outstanding student, earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023-24 CCAA All-Academic honors and CCAA 2023 Fall Academic Honor Roll and 2024 Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Riverside CC: Earned his AA degree in 2023 and was on the Dean’s Honor List. Finished fourth in the conference in the 10,000 with a time of 33:10.51 and fifth in the 5,000 with a time of 15:56.74. Had best marks of 15:28 in the 5K and 32:13.65 in the 10K. Was on a cross country team that finished third at the CCCAA Championships.

At Arlington High School: Won the Media Arts Academy “Most Likely To Win A Real Academy Award” in 2018 and the “Most Creative Senior” Award in 2019-20. Earned Scholar-Athlete Awards in cross country in 2018 and 2019 and the Leadership Award in cross country in 2019. Earned a Scholar-Athlete Award in track and field in 2019.

Personal: Son of Marc and Cynthia Donnhauser. Majoring in graphic design. Enjoys drawing, running, making stop-motion videos, playing video games, watching moves and collecting. Lists near the end of his race during the 2022 CCCAA Championships when he sprinted for about 200 meters, passing several runners while motivating his teammates behind him to chase him, closing the gap between the team’s No. 1 runner and bringing two other teammates with him as most exciting experience in sports. Notes he has been running in general for about eight years.
