Cal State LA Athletics

2022-23: Made significant contributions for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 18 games and started three times. Played a total of 292 minutes. Overcame injury and played some great games for the Golden Eagles down the stretch. Made his Cal State LA debut and played five minutes in a 57-51 win against Central Washington (11-19-22). Made his first career start and had two points and one rebound in 23 minutes against Cal State San Marcos (11-26-22). Scored a season-high 12 points in 19 minutes at Cal State Dominguez Hills (2-18-23). Started the final two games of the season. Had eight points, a season-high seven rebounds and a season-high six assists against Sonoma State (2-23-23) and had seven points in a season-high 30 minutes against Cal Poly Humboldt (2-25-23).

At UC San Diego: Shot better than 40 percent from 3-point range for the Tritons. Appeared in 79 games with two starts. Averaged 3.5 points per game in 2021-22 and made both career starts.

At Santa Margarita High School: Started on the varsity team all four years. Averaged 16 points, four rebounds and four assists in his career. Earned first-team All-League honors all four years and first-team All-CIF honors three times.

Personal: Son of Kenyon and Traci Rasheed. Earned his bachelor’s degree in international business at UC San Diego and is pursuing a Master’s degree at Cal State LA. Enjoys golf, playing piano and taking naps. Lists playing in a CIF championship game in the Honda Center as his most exciting experience in sports.
