Cal State LA Athletics

2022-23: Had an outstanding season for the Golden Eagles in his one year with the program. Appeared in 28 games with 26 starts. Played a total of 708 minutes and was third on the team in minutes played. Averaged 6.6 points and a team-high 5.9 rebounds per game. Also led the team in blocked shots with 46. Made his Cal State LA debut and got his first start against Biola (11-11-22). Had five points, one rebound and two blocks in 19 minutes. Started the first seven games and the final 19 of the season for the Golden Eagles. Had a season-high 15 points, seven rebounds and a season-high six blocks in a 68-61 win over Cal Poly Pomona (1-28-23). Had 13 points and a season-high 13 rebounds at Cal State East Bay (1-21-23). Reached double figures in scoring eight times and double figures in rebounding four times. Had two double-doubles.

At Rogers State: Appeared in 27 games with three starts. Averaged 2.5 points and 3.1 rebounds per game.

At Seattle University: Appeared in 20 games with one start. Averaged 3.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Reached double figures in scoring twice. Scored a season-high 18 points and grabbed 10 rebounds for his first double-double against Portland (12-30-20). Was second on the team with 19 blocks.

At Cal State Northridge: Appeared in 31 games with 23 starts in 2019-20. Averaged 3.4 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. Had a career-high 19 points on 9-for-9 shooting against Saint Katherine (1-4-20). Had 10 points and three rebounds at UC Santa Barbara (1-22-20). Named to the Big West All-Academic Team.  Appeared in 30 games with 13 starts in 2018-19. Averaged 2.9 points and 2.7 rebounds per game. Named to the Big West All-Academic Team.

At McKinney North High School: Earned district Newcomer of the Year and was a two-time varsity Defensive Player of the Year. Earned first-team All-District honors three times and was a three-time Academic All-District award winner. Was the team’s Most Improved Player of the Year and two-time team Defensive Player of the Year.

Personal: Son of Hulon and Perdithia Pearre. Is pursuing his post-grad Real Estate license. Enjoys working out, playing video games, studying the stock market and watching television shows. Lists playing at and beating UC Santa Barbara in the last game of conference play at CSUN as his most exciting experience in sports. Win put the Matadors in second place in the conference, but conference tournament that year was canceled due to COVID-19.. Notes he has an older brother who played basketball and graduated from Utah State and a younger brother currently playing at Regis University.
