Summary

Biography

2009: Was a top sprinter and hurdler for the Golden Eagles in her first season with the program and earned All-America honors in the 4x100 relay in outdoor track and field. That team finished third in the nation. The 4x100 relay team also placed second in the California Collegiate Athletic Association and earned All-CCAA honors. Finished eighth in the conference in the 100 hurdles. Had best times of 12.15 in the 100 and 25.85 in the 200 and had the team’s best time in the 100 hurdles (14.65). Also competed in the heptathlon and had a best mark of 3,727. Competed well for the Golden Eagles’ indoor track and field team. Had best marks of 9.74 in the 60 hurdles and 35-00.25 in the triple jump.
 
At Northern Arizona University: Earned letters in track and field.
 
At San Diego High School: Competed in track and field, basketball and volleyball. Was on the school’s academic Honor Roll, won the Sportsmanship Award in a CIF basketball game and was the Athlete of the Week twice in track and field.
 
Personal: Daughter of George and Shannon Ridley. Majoring in criminal justice. Enjoys text messaging and shopping. Lists winning a CIF championship in basketball as her most exciting experience in sports. Is pursuing a double minor in child development and sociology with an emphasis on law and society.
