Cal State LA Athletics

2010: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the track and field program. Finished ninth in the 10,000 meters at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Had best marks of 5:14.55 in the 1,500,10:50.62 in the 3,000, 18:26.58 in the 5,000 and 40:17.11 in the 10,000.

2009: Made an immediate impact as a freshman for Cal State L.A.’s cross country team in the fall and was a top-five runner. Finished 35^th in the California Collegiate Athletic Association championships with a 6,000-meter time of 24:27.7. Finished 93^rd in the NCAA Division II West Region championships with a 6,000-meter time of 24:07.8.

At Saugus High School: Competed in cross country and track and field. Earned student-athlete honors all four years. Was on a team that won three straight state titles and took second in nationals twice. Set a Mt. SAC record as a team in 2009. Was a team captain for two years. Earned Coach’s and Most Inspirational awards.

Personal: Daughter of Robert and Shana Molt. Majoring in public relations. Enjoys running, skim boarding, guitar and naps. Lists getting first as a team in state and second at nationals the following week as her most exciting experience in sports.
