Cal State LA Athletics

2024-25: Made meaningful contributions for the Golden Eagles in her one year with the program. Appeared in 27 of 28 games and played a total of 228 minutes. Averaged 2.3 points, 0.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists per game. Made her Cal State LA debut and scored seven points in 14 minutes in a 76-56 win over Seattle Pacific (11-8-24). Scored a season-high nine points in 12 minutes of a 75-64 win over Concordia (11-20-24). Had six points and a season-high five rebounds against Cal State Dominguez Hills (11-24-24). Had five points and a season-high five assists in a season-high 23 points at Cal State San Bernardino (1-2-25). Earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award, 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors and 2024-25 CCAA Winter Academic Honor Roll recognition.

At Orange Coast College: Was the 3C2A Offensive Player of the Year in 2024 and helped her team to a second straight state championship. Earned first-team All-State and All-Conference honors in 2024. Averaged 14.5 points, 4.2 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game.

At Orange Lutheran High School: Helped her team capture a CIF Division 2AA championship in 2022 and was on the Southern Section All-Star team. Also earned All-Academic honors and was on the school’s Honor Roll all four years.

Personal: Daughter of Prince and Sheria Cassell. Majoring in sociology. Enjoys spending time with family and friends. Lists winning championships, especially the 2024 3C2A Championship, as her most exciting experience in sports. Says she is very excited about the opportunity to build lifelong relationships with her teammates and coaches. Also says she is blessed to be playing for her coaches at Cal State LA and that she’s ready to learn, grow and win with an amazing group of people and gives “All Glory 2 God!”
