Cal State LA Athletics

2023: Had a strong season for Cal State LA’s cross country team in her first year with the program. Was the team’s No. 1 runner in four of six meets. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 21:53.80 in the Seawolf Invitational on Sept. 2 and a best 6,000-meter time of 25:17.2 at the UCR Highlander Classic on Oct. 14. Finished 79^th at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships with a 6,000-meter time of 25:33.5 on Oct. 21 and was the team’s No. 1 finisher. Was on the Cal State LA track and field roster in the spring (2024), but did not compete in any meets.

At Glendale Community College: Earned Western State Conference team championships in 2021 and 2022 and earned third place as a team in the state championships. Had a personal best of 21:21 in the 5,000 and finished 24^th at the 2022 Western State Championships. Had best times in track and field of 2:40.60 in the 800, 5:27.34 in the 1,500, 11:54.87 in the 3,000 and 20:53.61 in the 5,000. Finished 12^th in the conference in the 5,000.

At Stem Academy of Hollywood: Competed in cross country, track and field and soccer.

Personal: Daughter of Maximino Martin and Engracia Santiago. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys baking.
