Summary

Biography

2024-25: Was a major player for the Golden Eagles in her third and final year with the program. Had a 3-9 overall record in singles, including a 3-6 mark in dual matches. Was 2-3 at No. 5 singles, 1-2 at No. 4 singles and 0-1 at No. 3 singles. Had a 1-12 record in doubles, including a 1-9 mark in dual matches. Was 1-3 at No. 3 doubles with partner Courtlyn Lam. Had one of the biggest singles wins of the season, earning a big three-set win, 7-6 (9-7), 2-6, 6-1 win at No. 5 singles to tie the match at 3-3 in a 4-3 win over Westmont on April 4. Earned a 2024-25 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award and 2024-25 Academic All-Pac West Conference honors. For her career, had a 6-31 record in singles, including a 5-25 mark in dual matches and a 2-17 record in doubles, including a 2-13 mark in dual matches.

2023-24: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in both singles and doubles in her second year with the program. Had a 1-3 overall record in doubles, including a 1-2 mark in dual matches. Had a 2-13 record in singles, including a 2-11 mark in dual matches. Was 1-1 at No. 3 doubles with Alexandra Hincu. Picked up a 6-0 win with Hincu at No. 3 doubles in a 7-0 victory over Chaminade on March 28. Also recorded a win at No. 5 singles in the victory over Chaminade. An outstanding student, earned a 2023-24 ITA Scholar-Athlete honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association and was instrumental in Cal State LA earning an ITA All-Academic Team award. Earned a 2023-24 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2023-24 Academic All-PacWest Conference honors.

2022-23: Made contributions for the Golden Eagles in her first year with the program. Picked up her first victory at Cal State LA in fall tournament action at the ITA West Regional on Sept. 29. Had an overall singles record of 1-9 and was 0-8 in dual matches at No. 5 and No. 6 singles spot. Was 0-2 in two doubles matches at No. 3 doubles. An outstanding student, earned a 2022-23 ITA Scholar-Athlete Award and was instrumental in Cal State LA earning an ITA All-Academic Team award. Earned a 2022-23 D2 Athletic Directors Association Academic Achievement Award. Also earned 2022-23 Academic All-PacWest Conference honors.

At West Virginia State: Helped the Yellow Jackets reach the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Division II. Played mostly at No. 5 or No. 6 singles and at No. 3 doubles.

At CENS High School: Competed in individual tournaments in France.

Personal: Daughter of Patrick and Magdalena Rolland. Majoring in mechanical engineering. Enjoys traveling, watching series and hanging out with friends. Lists advancing to the Sweet 16 with WVSU as her most exciting experience in sports.
