Summary

Biography

2009: Had a second sensational season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Started all 22 games and led the team in minutes played with 1,951. Became the first player in program history to earn CoSIDA Academic All-District 8 honors. Received first-team recognition. For her career, appeared in 40 games and started all of them. Played a total of 3,406 minutes.

2008: Had an outstanding first season for the Golden Eagles. Started in 18 of the team’s 19 games and was a mainstay on the Cal State L.A. defense. Team allowed only 22 goals in the 18 games she played in and posted three shutouts. Golden Eagles gave up five goals in the one contest she missed.
 
At Long Beach City College: Earned All-Conference honors for a state championship team that was also ranked No. 1 in the nation.
At Long Beach Poly High School: Earned first-team All-Moore League honors and was the team’s Most Valuable Defensive Player. Competed in soccer, cross country and track and field.
Personal: Daughter of Roger and Darvina Wong. Majoring in communication studies. Enjoys eating and watching movies. Lists winning the state championship at Long Beach City College as her most exciting experience in sports.
