Summary

Biography

2009: Made contributions once again for the Golden Eagles in her second and final season with the program. Appeared in four games and started twice. Played a total of 235 minutes. Allowed only one goal and had a goals against average of 0.38. Made eight saves and had a saves percentage of .889. Went 2-0 with one shutout. Made her first start and made three saves in a 4-0 win against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 16. Made a season-high five saves in a 2-1 win against UC San Diego on Oct. 19. For her career, appeared in 23 games with 21 starts. Played a total of 1,940 minutes. Allowed 25 goals and had a goals against average of 1.16. Made.104 saves and had a saves percentage of .806. Had a record of 9-9-3 with four shutouts.

2008: Earned the starting job as goalkeeper in her first year with the program and had an impressive season. Started all 19 games for the Golden Eagles. Made 96 saves, which is the eighth-highest single-season total in the program’s history. Had a goals-against average of 1.27 and a save percentage of .800. Allowed one or fewer goals in nine of the team’s last 10 games. Recorded three shutouts. Made four saves in a 0-0 tie with Texas A&M Commerce on Sept. 4 and recorded four saves in a 1-0 overtime win at Westmont on Sept. 9. Final shutout came after making four saves at UC San Diego on Oct. 19. Was named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 13-19 after making seven saves, including a stop on a penalty kick, in a 2-1 win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 17 and then recording the shutout at UC San Diego on Oct. 19. Made a season-high nine saves against UC San Diego on Sept. 19 and made eight saves in a 1-1 tie against Cal State Stanislaus on Oct. 5 and in a 2-1 win over Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 26.
 
At De Anza Junior College: Earned All-America honors twice. Team was third in the state in 2007 and won the league title in 2006. Also earned All-Conference honors twice.
At Aptos High School: Was the Freshman of the Year and then earned All-League honors three years. Competed in soccer and softball.
Personal: Daughter of John Emswiler and Steve and Patty Donatini. Majoring in communications. Enjoys the beach, wakeboarding, snowboarding, camping and hanging out with family and friends. Lists making the save on a penalty kick in the last three minutes of a 2-1 win over Cal State Dominguez Hills as her most exciting experience in sports.
