Summary

Biography

2019-20: Showed great improvement for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program. Had a 2-3 overall record in singles, including a 1-1 mark in dual matches. Posted her first collegiate victory with a 6-3, 6-0 win over Dominican’s Alexandria Rogers at the ITA West Region Championships. Picked up her first dual match victory at No. 6 singles with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Hope International’s Lisanne Siebrecht. For her career, had a 3-3 overall record in singles, including a 1-2 mark in dual matches.

2018-19: Made her collegiate debut for Cal State LA and played one match at No. 6 singles against Pomona-Pitzer.

At Fullerton College: Was a finalist in both singles in doubles in the conference tournament in 2017 and was the team Most Valuable Player. Was nominated for Sophomore Player of the Year in 2017.

At Ayala High School: Earned first-team All-League honors as a freshman, sophomore and senior and played on the varsity team all four years in high school. Received Most Valuable Player award in doubles as a senior and freshman. Team won a league championship her senior year.

Personal: Daughter of Ignacio and Angelica Altamirano. Majoring in child development. Enjoys spending time with family and friends, shopping, dancing and spending time at the beach. Lists making it into the Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament for two years while at Fullerton College as her most exciting experiences in sports.
