Summary

Biography

2019-20: Was one of the top players on the team once again in her third year with the Golden Eagle when the season was halted. Had a 4-8 overall record in singles, including a 2-6 mark in dual matches. Had a 2-3 record in five matches at No. 2 singles. Also had a 3-6 record in doubles, including a 2-5 record at No. 1 doubles with two different partners. In her three years with the program, had a 20-39 record overall in singles, including a 12-32 mark in dual matches playing in the top singles positions. Had an overall record of 27-31 record in doubles, including a 21-24 mark in dual matches.

2018-19: Was a team leader and No. 1 player for the Golden Eagles in her second year with the program. Had a 4-18 overall record in singles, including a 3-16 mark at No. 1 singles. Also had an 11-12 record in doubles, including a 9-10 mark at No. 1 doubles. Finished the season ranked 10th in the NCAA Division II West Region in doubles with partner Isabella Lopez. Earned 2018-19 Academic All-PacWest Conference honors.

2017-18: Had an outstanding first season with the Golden Eagles and was one of the team’s top players. Had a 12-13 overall record in singles, including a 7-10 mark in dual matches. Was 2-2 at No. 1 singles and 5-8 at No. 2 singles. Earned third-team All-PacWest  Conference honors in doubles with partner Elizaveta Sokolova. Finished the season ranked 72nd in the nation in singles in the ITA National Rankings. Earned 2017-18  Academic All-PacWest Conference honors.

At University of Northwestern Ohio: Was the ITA National Rookie of the Year for the NAIA program after earning Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year honors. Won ITA Fall Regional titles in singles and doubles and was fifth in singles and seventh in doubles at the Oracle Cup. Had an 18-7 record in singles, all but one at No. 1 singles and was ranked 5th in the nation in singles and No. 7 in doubles.

At Minerva Zurich HS: Competed in tennis and played with a team in the Swiss National League B.

Personal: Daughter of Luba and Remo Schneider. Majoring in business administration: finance. Enjoys sports, traveling and hanging out with friends. Lists transferring to Cal State LA and being a part of the women’s tennis team and getting the national Rookie of the Year award as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she has an older sister named Saskia.
