Summary

Biography

2015-16: Had an outstanding season in her fourth and final year with the program. Appeared in 27 games and started all 27. Played a total of 740 minutes. Averaged 11.4 points and 4.4 rebounds per game. Was fourth on the team in scoring, tied for third in rebounding and second in steals with 52. Earned All-California Collegiate Athletic Association honorable mention. Had a career-high 21 points at Cal State Monterey Bay (2-19-16) and matched that total in the next game against Cal State East Bay (2-20-16). Had 18 points and a career-high 16 rebounds in a 60-44 win over Point Loma (11-28-15). Reached double figures in scoring 17 times and 20 or more points three times. For her career, appeared in 96 games with 49 starts. Played a total of 1,831 minutes. Averaged 6.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game. Also had a total of 91 steals.

2014-15: Had her best season with the Golden Eagles in her third year with the program. Appeared in 26 games and started a career-best 14 times. Was fifth on the team in scoring. Averaged 6.8 points and 3.1 rebounds per game. Had a career-high 17 points and four rebounds against California Baptist (11-29-14). Also had 16 points in 28 minutes in a win at Chico State (1-30-15). Had a near double-double with nine points and a career-high 10 rebounds in a win against San Francisco State (2-27-15). Reached double figures in scoring five times.

2013-14: Came back from injury and contributed in her second year with the program. Appeared in 25 games and averaged 2.3 points and 1.1 rebounds per game. Had a season-high 10 points, a career-high four assists and two rebounds against Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-15-13).

2012-13: Was having a tremendous first season with the Golden Eagles before suffering a season-ending injury. Appeared in 18 games and averaged 5.7 points and 2.3 rebounds. Had her best game of the season the week before her injury when she had a season-high 16 points and five rebounds against Chico State (1-18-13). Also had 14 points in a win at Cal State San Bernardino (12-1-12) and 10 points against Cal State Dominguez Hills (12-9-12).

At St. Joseph’s High School: Competed in basketball and netball. Was an Australian U-17 team member and played with the New South Wales Institute of Sport for four seasons from 2009-12. Earned the New South Wales Catholic “Blues” Award for basketball. Captained her high school team to a third-place finish in nationals.

Personal: Daughter of Marshall and Caroline Parsons. Majoring in psychology. Enjoys the beach, hiking, travelling and hanging out with friends. Lists representing New South Wales at the Australian National Championships as her most exciting experience in sports. Says she has visited every Australian state to play basketball.
