Cal State LA Athletics

2013-14: Had another successful season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had a 1-2 overall record in singles, including an 0-1 mark in dual matches. Had a 10-9 overall record in doubles, including a 9-6 mark in dual matches. Teamed up with Samantha Sismundo for all the doubles contests. Duo went 4-1 at No. 5 doubles and 5-5 at No. 6 doubles. For her career, had a 4-5 overall record in singles and was 0-1 in dual matches. Had an overall record of 18-15 in doubles, including a 13-9 in dual matches. Recorded a total of 13 points in dual matches for the Golden Eagles in her career.

2012-13: Had a productive first season with the Golden Eagles. Had a 3-3 record in singles, all in tournament play. Advanced to the “C” Flight finals at the Matador Invitational at Cal State Northridge. Also had an 8-5 record in doubles with teammate Samantha Sismundo, including a 4-2 mark at No. 3 doubles. Reached the consolation doubles finals at the Matador Invitational with Sismundo and also advanced to the quarterfinals at the Cal State Fullerton Fall Tournament. Earned Scholar-Athlete honors from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

At Glendale Community College: Was the team’s Most Valuable Player and Most Inspirational Player in 2011 and 2012.

At Clark Magnet High School: Competed in tennis and track and field. Was the tennis team’s Most Valuable Player in 2007, 2008 and 2009 and formed part of the Doubles Team of the Year in 2009.

Personal: Daughter of Armine and Zareh Zargarian. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys playing tennis, working out, hiking, shopping and watching movies. Lists being able to play in the Ojai Tournament with her doubles partner, Samantha Sismundo, as her most exciting experience in sports.
