Cal State LA Athletics

2013-14: Had a second strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had a 14-8 overall record in singles, including a 12-4 mark in dual matches. Had a 6-2 record at No. 3 singles and a 6-2 mark at No. 4 singles. Also had an 11-9 record in doubles, including a 9-7 mark at No. 1 doubles with Leora Hemmerich. For her career, had an overall singles record of 23-16, including a 18-9 mark in dual matches. Had an overall record of 21-17 in doubles, including a 13-14 mark in dual matches. Recorded a total of 31 points in dual matches in her career for the Golden Eagles.

2012-13: Had a solid first season with the Golden Eagles and contributed right away as a freshman. Compiled a 9-8 record in singles, including a 6-5 mark in singles. Was 3-4 at No. 5 singles and 3-1 at No. 6 singles. Also contributed in doubles and had a 10-8 overall record. Reached the consolation finals in singles at the Cal State Fullerton Fall Invitational and won the consolation bracket in doubles at Fullerton with teammate Jill Sangria. Also captured the “B” Flight title in doubles at the Matador Invitational at Cal State Northridge with teammate Tiffani Shaik.

At Serrano High School: Was the 2011 and 2012 Mojave River League Athlete of the Year. Was the Serrano High School Most Valuable Player and the Victor Valley Daily Press Tennis Player of the Year. Lettered in tennis all four years in high school. Was undefeated in singles in 2011 with a 36-0 record and won a 2011 CIF Championship. Was ranked 72^nd among high school seniors in California. Earned an academic letter.

Personal: Daughter of Doug and Mary Postal. Majoring in accounting. Enjoys traveling and camping. Lists leading her team, as the captain, to its ninth straight league title and becoming a Golden Eagle as her most exciting experiences in sports. Was in the Serrano High School A.S.B. program for three years and was a sports writer for the school newspaper.
