LOS ANGELES -- Cal State LA's
Daniela Andrade of has earned her way to another FloCollege/CCAA Women's Golfer of the Week honor, this time for her outing on April 3-4.

Last week at the RJGA Women's Palm Valley Classic in Goodyear, Ariz., Andrade shot a 3-under 141 to place second at the two-day tournament. She finished just two strokes behind winner Mia Hammerschmid of West Texas A&M.

The junior from San Jose, Calif., shot an impressive tournament-low 68 in the opening round on Friday. Andrade recorded seven birdies for a two-stroke lead. However, Hammerschmid scored a 69 to surpass Andrade, who carded a 73 in round two, for the win on Saturday.Â

As a team, Cal State LA (596) was sixth in a highly competitive regional tournament with Colorado State-Pueblo winning the team title (579).

This is Andrade's first Golfer of the Week award this season and the third of her career. She is the second Cal State LA golfer to earn weekly honors in 2025-26.

Cal State LA will join the rest of the conference teams at the CCAA Women's Golf Championship, on April 20-22, at The Reserve at Spanos Park in Stockton.
