ALLENDALE, MICHIGAN -- Cal State LA's women's indoor track and field team had some strong performances Friday in the opening day of the Grand Valley State Big Meet.

Eden Hahn set a pair of season's best marks in the 60 and 200 meters to lead the way. She was 33rd in the 60 with a time of 7.95 and 11th in the 200 with a time of 25.71. 

Isis Johnson had a seventh-place finish in the long jump with a mark of 16-8.75 and Riyanna Jackson was 12th with a mark of 15-3.75. 

Hahn led five Golden Eagles in the 60. Riyanna Jackson was 47th in 8.59, Ogechi Ukaeje was 49th in 8.59, Cleo Goodwin was 50th in 8.86 and Yara Bongers was 52nd in 9.15.

She led three Golden Eagles in the 200. Aazalet Danage was 20th in 26.51 and Saminah Haddad was 24th in 27.05.

Paloma Sanchez was 32nd in the 600 with a time of 1:55.58 and Vanessa Monrreal was 37th in 2:06.35.

The Golden Eagles were also 19th in the 4x400 relay with a time of 4:06.36. Hahn, Destiny Moedano, Isis Johnson and Jackson made up the team.

The two-day meet will conclude on Saturday.
