Cal State L.A. goalkeeper Gabriella Batmani only needed to make one save for her sixth shutout of the season. Humboldt State goalkeeper Jennie Paugh made six saves for the Lumberjacks (3-11, 3-9 CCAA).

The Golden Eagles had a 6-0 edge in shots in the opening half and maintained a 5-3 advantage in the second half.

Conley opened the scoring in the 11th minute when she was on the receiving end of passes from Ann Marie Tangorra and Liz Franco in the box and fired a shot just inside the far post. It was Conley's second goal of the season.

Hanna made it 2-0 in the 39th minute off a corner kick. Franco sent the ball in front of the goal, where it was headed by Lisa Ohberg. Hanna was able to slide in and knocked the rebound into the net for her first goal of the season.
