Summary

Biography

2024: Had another strong season for the Golden Eagles in her second and final season with the program. Appeared in 10 matches and 25 sets. Had 11 kills, one service ace, five digs and one block. Made her season debut in a five-set win over Seattle Pacific on Sept. 6. Had a career-high six kills and one dig at Cal State San Marcos on Nov. 9. Also had four kills, one block and two digs in two sets in a win at Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 4. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors. For her career, appeared in 32 matches and 89 sets. Had 37 kills, four aces, 25 digs, 28 blocks and 56.5 points.

2023: Made significant contributions in the fall while helping the Golden Eagles to their first NCAA Division II national championship as well as a second straight NCAA West Region title and a California Collegiate Athletic Association co-championship in her first year with the program. Appeared in 22 matches and 64 sets. Had 26 kills, three aces, seven set assists, 29 blocks and 20 digs. Made her Cal State LA debut and played in two sets against Regis on Aug. 31. Had a season-high four kills, four blocks and three digs against Western Florida on Sept. 8. Also had four kills in five swings to go along with two blocks and three digs in a four-set win over Stanislaus State on Sept. 16. Also had four kills and three blocks in a four-set win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Oct. 20. Had a season-high five blocks in a three-set win over Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 14. Also competed for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2024). Went 1-1 with Haley Roundtree at No. 2 pairs, competed with Emily Elliott for one match at No. 2 pairs and competed with Ashley Dittmann for two matches at No. 1 pairs.

At Akron University: Appeared in 17 matches and 54 sets in 2022. Had 74 kills, eight blocks and 26 digs.

At St. Mary’s High School: Was a four-year letterwinner at St. Mary’s. Helped the Rams capture the TCAL Championship in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Named to the All-League second team as a sophomore and junior. Was a member of the National Honor Society and California Scholarship Federation. Copmeted in indoor volleyball, beach volleyball and basketball. Played for the club team Omni, where she was an American Samoa National Volleyball team member at the age of 16.

Personal: Daughter of Jeremiah and Angelica Danielson. Majoring in marketing. Enjoys shopping, traveling and spending time with friends. Lists getting hit in the head with a ball and winning the 2023 national championship as her most exciting experiences in sports. Notes she is the oldest of five siblings: Manai Danielson, Pelenani Danielson, Manaali’i Danielson and Nas Danielson.
