2016: Concluded an outstanding four-year career with Cal State LA’s program with her best season. Was third on the team with 220 kills and 258.5 points. Was second on the team in digs with a career-high 267. Was also second on the team in service aces with 27. Tied a career high with 17 kills and 20 digs in a five-set match against Cal State East Bay on Oct. 8. Also had 16 kills in a four-set match against the University of Indianapolis on Sept. 2 and 15 kills in a five-set match at Cal State San Bernardino on Oct. 21. Had 14 kills in Cal State LA’s California Collegiate Athletic Association Championship Tournament match against Sonoma State on Nov. 17. Set a new career high for aces with four in a three-set win over Fresno Pacific on Sept. 10 and in a four-set match at UC San Diego on Sept. 17. Reached double figures in kills in eight matches. For her career, appeared in 95 matches and 266 sets. Had 482 kills, 55 service aces, 447 digs, 57 blocks and 570 points.

2015: Was one of the team’s most improved players and had a strong junior season at Cal State LA. Was fourth on the team in kills with 225 and third on the team with 20 service aces. Appeared in all 30 matches for the Golden Eagles and played in 107 of the team’s 109 sets. Had a career-high 17 kills and a career-high 15 digs in a five-set match against Cal State San Bernardino on Nov. 13. Also had 14 kills in a four-set win over Cal State San Marcos on Oct. 10. Reached double figures in kills in nine matches. Also had a career-high three service aces in a four-set win at Cal State East Bay on Oct. 3.

2014: Had a second solid season with the Golden Eagles. Appeared in 18 matches and a total of 26 sets. Finished the season with 15 kills, four service aces, 16 digs and three blocks. Had a career-high six kills and four digs in a win over Cal State Stanislaus on Nov. 8. Also had three kills at Seattle Pacific on Sept. 5.

2013: Had a promising first season for the Golden Eagles and received playing time as a true freshman. Appeared in 21 matches and played a total of 34 sets. Started four times. Finished the season with 22 kills, four service aces, 18 digs and nine blocks. Had a season-high four kills and two blocks in a three-set win over Fort Lewis College on Sept. 7. Also had three kills in matches against Seattle Pacific on Sept. 13 and Northwest Nazarene on Sept. 14. Had two service aces against Alaska on Sept. 14.

At Eastlake High School: Played four years of varsity in volleyball and softball. Was on a team that won two league titles. Averaged 4.3 kills per set. Was named to the San Diego Union-Tribune All-Academic team.

Personal: Daughter of Salvador and Susan Gomez. Majoring in communications. Enjoys going to the beach, concerts, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Also enjoys annoying teammate JamieAnn Bero. Lists beating Chico State in five sets as her most exciting experience in sports.
