Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had another strong season for Cal State LA’s defending national champions in the fall. Appeared in 29 matches and 112 sets. Was second on the team with 33 aces. Also had 110 digs, which was seventh on the team. Matched a career-high with four aces in an NCAA first-round match against San Francisco State. Also had four aces and a career-high 13 digs earlier in the season at Cal Poly Humboldt on Sept. 21. Had three aces in California Collegiate Athletic Association Tournament championship match against Stanislaus State. Had 11 aces in Cal State LA’s four matches at the CCAA Tournament and NCAA West Regional. Had 11 digs in a five-set win at Central Washington on Sept. 14. Was on the roster for Cal State LA’s beach volleyball team in the spring (2025), but did not compete in any matches. Earned 2024-25 California Collegiate Athletic Association All-Academic honors.

2023: Made meaningful contributions for the NCAA Division II, NCAA West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions. Appeared in 24 matches and 74 sets for the Golden Eagles. Was fourth on the team with 24 aces. Also recorded 22 digs. Had a career-high four aces in a three-set win at Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 13. Had three big aces in Cal State LA’s four-set win over West Texas A&M in the national championship game on Dec. 9. Also had two aces in the national semi-final win over Missouri-St. Louis on Dec. 8. Had two aces in the West Region championship game win at Cal State San Bernardino on Dec. 2. Had a season-high five digs in a three-set win at Cal State San Marcos on Sept. 23. Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball roster in the spring (2024), but did not compete in any matches. Earned 2023 CCAA Fall Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2022: Joined Cal State LA’s volleyball program in the fall and made a strong impression for the NCAA Division II West Region and California Collegiate Athletic Association champions. Played in 27 matches and 75 sets for the Golden Eagles. Was tied for sixth on the team with 15 aces. Also had eight digs. Made her Cal State LA debut and contributed a dig in a win against Ferris State on Sept. 2. Had a season-high three service aces in a win over Chaminade on Sept. 2. Had a season-high five digs against Central Washington on Sept. 1. Was on Cal State LA’s beach volleyball roster in the spring (2023), but did not compete in any matches.

At Palo Verde High School: Earned second-team all-state honors.

Personal: Daughter of Matt and Mikayla Paige. Majoring in Kinesiology. Enjoys reading. Lists winning the 2023 national championship as her most exciting experience in sports.
