Cal State LA Athletics

2024: Had a strong season for the Golden Eagles in her final year with the program. Had best times of 25.80 in the 200 and 59.66 in the 400. Ran the first leg for Cal State LA’s 4x400 relay team that placed sixth at the California Collegiate Athletic Association Championships. Finished 11^th in the CCAA in the 400 and 20^th in the 200. Also ran for Cal State LA’s indoor team and had best marks of 27.53 in the 200 and 61.29 in the 400. Earned 2024 CCAA Spring Academic Honor Roll recognition.

2023: Was on Cal State LA’s track and field roster, but did not compete in any meets. Was on Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall and competed in one race. Had a 6,000-meter time of 36:13.1 at the Cougar Challenge on Sept. 23.

2022: Competed for Cal State LA’s cross country team in the fall. Ran in four meets. Had a best 5,000-meter time of 25:08.0 at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 17 and a best 6,000-meter time of 30:54.9 at the Cougar Challenge on Sept. 24.

At San Francisco State: Competed in one meet during the outdoor season and four in the indoor season in 2022 for the Gators. Had best marks of 15-1.50 in the long jump and 34-5.50 in the triple jump.

At Long Beach Wilson: Competed in track and field. Won the league meet in hurdles in her freshman and sophomore seasons. Won the Iron Woman trophy during her junior season. Won the league title in the triple jump.

Personal: Daughter of Sean and Andrea Jones. Majoring in mathematics. Enjoys puzzles, drawing and watching TV. Lists hitting her time goals or being faster as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she is a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority.
