At Schurr High School: Earned the Spartan Award in both cross country and track and field. Graduated with Highest Honors. Had best marks of 14.81 in the 100, 21.57 in the 100 hurdles and 59.88 in the 300 hurdles in high school.

Personal: Daughter of Hugo and Karin Ayala. Majoring in studio arts. Enjoys drawing and listening to music. Lists making friends on the team and celebrating after races as her most exciting experiences in sports.
