Cal State LA Athletics

2024-25: Had an outstanding season and was one of the team’s best players in her first year with the program. Battled through illness and injury, but returned in time to help the team win two of its last three matches. Had a 4-6 record in singles, all in dual matches and a 6-5 record in doubles, also all in dual matches. Was tied for second in dual match victories and led the team in doubles wins. Had a 4-4 record at No. 1 singles and a 3-3 record at No. 1 doubles and 3-2 mark at No. 2 doubles. Was 3-2 at No. 1 doubles with Maldini Simic and 1-1 at No. 2 doubles. Also had a 2-1 mark at No. 2 doubles with Courtlyn Lam. Picked up her first points for Cal State LA in a 7-0 win over Jessup on Feb. 8. Teamed with Simic for a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles and then claimed a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles.


At Academy of Art: Competed for the Urban Knights in the fall of 2024 and reached the singles final of the ITA West Regional. Won five singles matches during the tournament. Also advanced to the semifinals of the doubles bracket.

At Erskine College: Had a 23-11 overall record in singles in 2023-24. Had an 11-6 record at No. 3 singles and a 12-5 mark at No. 2 doubles. Helped team win a Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship.  Won Flight-A singles and doubles championships at the Cayce Invitational in the fall of 2023.

At Or Avner: Competed in 10 different countries across Europe and Asia.

Personal: Daughter of Andrey and Olga Pavlova. Majoring in business administration and management. Enjoys cooking. Lists running at 5 a.m. with the team as her most exciting experience in sports. Notes she loves tennis and she loves her team.
